Between 29 September and 2 October, as we previously reported, the III Erasmus + We All Count Project Meeting took place in Budapest. This Erasmus+ project has the collaboration of the Yehudi Menuhin Spain Foundation and, for this appointment, the Spanish delegation was made up of people from the King Juan Carlos University, the Municipality of Alcolea del Tajo and the CRA Río Tajo, an educational center participating in this project. In addition, the representation of people from the Yehudi Menuhin Spain Foundation itself was made up of a group of 8 people. Now it’s time to dig a little deeper into how those days went.

Taking advantage of the coincidence of the celebration of the International Day of Music, the second day of the meeting began with an exhibition by Vera Banki, belonging to the Eotvos Lorand University, in which he talked about the relationship between music and pedagogy and how to teach music from a different pedagogical perspective, based on the teachings of Zoltán Kodaly. A MUS-E session of Hungarian folk music was then observed in which two Hungarian artists brought music closer to second-graders.

By the end of the morning, the preparation of the flashmob was continued, in this case, accompanied by children from the educational center where they and they were responsible for helping us with the pronunciation of the lyrics of the songs; it was a very pleasant and fun time for them as they enjoyed hearing the mistakes in the pronunciation of Hungarian. Finally, it was time to make the flashmob in the square of the town, accompanied by different groups from the Lázár Ervin school and the Kodály Zoltán Magyar Korusiskola Laudate choir. To close the meeting formally and after enjoying a coffee in the famous chocolate shop Szamos, the evaluation of the meeting was carried out and the different outstanding tasks that each of the leaders have to start closing a project that is being very fruitful was considered. As the final culminate of the meeting, the three delegations met in the centre of Budapest to have dinner together and conclude the meeting.
