In the idea of working as a team and knitting networks, on March 15th the MEETING of Escuela Rural CRA Río Tajo/José Manuel Oviedo ‘With the Five Senses, a day organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of Castilla La Mancha and the Regional Center for Teacher Training was held. This event, part of the Erasmus + ‘We All Count’ Project, of which the FYME is part, was developed in the three sections of the CRA Río Tajo-José Manuel Oviedo (Alcolea, Aldeanueva de Barbarroya and Bercial. It was attended by representatives of the educational community (students, parents and teachers) of CEIP Ramón y Cajal de Alpartir (Zaragoza) and the entire educational community of the CRA Río Tajo/José Manuel Oviedo. In addition, she was attended by the counselor and vice-counsel of Education of Castilla-La Mancha, Angel Felpeto Enríquez and María Dolores López Sanz, the director of the CRFP Regional Teacher Training Center and the Provincial Director of Education of Toledo.
‘With the Five Senses’ it values the rural school and the experiences that develop in it, while being a commitment to the defense of our peoples and for environmental maintenance. The diversity we talk about in the ‘We All Count’ project must also go hand in hand with this diversity between rural and urban, as we are talking to partners, who we hope will soon know our work in the next meeting at the end of April.
A full day
Throughout the day, different activities and experiences were carried out at the CRA Río Tajo-José Manuel Oviedo, (MUSE Program, Carmenta Project). To begin with, and after the initial welcome, the students participated in a pottery workshop. This workshop was divided into two parts. On the one hand the children painted jugs, on the other they did a collective work with clay.
They later moved to Bercial. There, first, a loose raptor was made in collaboration with CERI sevilleja. Subsequently, primary school students took an orientation test and those of children took a psychomotor workshop. At the same time, explanations were given to mothers/fathers and alpartir faculty of the operation of the Carmenta project. After eating in Aldeanueva, there was a Senegalese music session, participating students playing drums and djembés. To finish a review session to everything worked during the day with a Kahoot, using the resources of the Carmenta Project in Aldeanueva.
