On 24 October, as part of the Campo dei Miracoli Project, we had the opportunity to present the Erasmus + We All Count Project to different partners. The event was attended by Enrique Barón Crespo, president of FYME and president of the European Parliament when the Erasmus Projects were launched. Enrique told us how those beginnings were in this context of European action. Projects that have been widely disseminated and very successful in all these years.

‘We All Count’ includes municipalities, schools, universities and non-profit entities, and explores non-formal education tools that complement formal education, with students at risk of exclusion, mainly of immigrant background, Roma ethnic group and students with special needs, incorporating new educational strategies. ‘We All Count’ aims to create a space for the exchange of good practices, training experiences and pedagogical materials. We create a model that lasts over time. The project specifically improves the democratic coexistence of those from different cultures, living in our cities and in our schools. WAC seeks inclusion with the rest of the peers and also seeks equality of children with special educational needs. It also includes teacher training and direct work with students.
- The project aims to prevent absenteeism and improve situations of social cohesion, emotional problems and demotivation (therefore, cross-sectoral training of teachers is needed).
- We propose the acquisition not only of new methodologies (from neuroscience to the MUS-E methodology) that promote imagination, creativity and entrepreneurship, and the improvement of coexistence, motivation for learning and the creation of European citizens, but also the acquisition of skills (teachers) internalize the methodology and implement it from experimentation.
